Elected Officials

The City of Grand Meadow is comprised of a City Council Board of five members, including the sitting Mayor.  Each council member serves for a four year term and the Mayor for a two year term.  If you have ever considered becoming a part of the Council, please contact City Hall for details.

NOTICE OF FILING DATES

FOR AFFIDAVITS OF CANDIDACY

 

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 205.13, Subd. 2, that any person eligible and desiring to have their name placed on the official ballot as a candidate for a CITY OF  GRAND MEADOW, Minnesota elective office to be voted for at the general election on November 3, 2026, shall file their affidavit of candidacy at the CITY OF GRAND MEADOW Clerk’s Office, 113 Main St N, from the dates of July 14, 2026 at 8:00 A.M. through July 28th, 2026 at 5:00 P.M.

 

            Elective offices are:

                 MAYOR                                                   2-year term

                 CITY COUNCIL MEMBER 2                   4-year term

                 CITY COUNCIL MEMBER 4                   4-year term
